Blake works collaboratively on the intercomparison and accuracy assessment between OpenET satellite-based ET and ground-based measurements. Since 2019 he has led the zonal statistics data extractions of OpenET satellite-based ET models using the Google Earth Engine and Python API’s, which are used for comparisons with ground-based measurements. He also prepared a ground-based ET dataset primarily from eddy covariance towers in Nevada for the energy balance closure pipeline and intercomparison.
