Yanghui is a member of the OpenET ALEXI/DisALEXI model team. She developed the CONUS Landsat Leaf Area Index mapping algorithm and implemented the thermal sharpening algorithm on the Google Earth Engine platform. Her research broadly focuses on the monitoring and understanding of ecosystem carbon and water dynamics by combining in situ observations, satellite remote sensing, machine learning, and process-based modeling.
